Soap And Shower Gel

Soap is the oldest cleanser of humanity. The ancient Sumerians used soap-like concoctions. The basis of soap is a mixture of oils or fats and alkaline substances such as potash.

These form long-chain molecules, one end of which can bind fat, while the other attracts water. This makes it possible that releasable actually not oily substances can be dissolved and washed away from the skin in water.

Liquid soaps and shower gels consist essentially of the same starting materials as conventional soaps. But since they are not solid mass, they can be much easier spread on the skin.

They foam better than soap, loosen the dirt faster and can also be more easily washed off the skin. This makes them much skin than the classic soap.

However, it can react with itching or pensioning sensitive skin also shower gel. In this case it is advisable to resort to pH-neutral products.
